Announcing that this fine film will Premiere at Toronto Film Festival……….. The poster.

In his highly acclaimed novel NEVER LET ME GO, Kazuo Ishiguro (THE REMAINS OF THE DAY) created a remarkable story of love, loss and hidden truths. In it he posed the fundamental question: What makes us human? Now director Mark Romanek (ONE HOUR PHOTO), writer Alex Garland and DNA Films bring Ishiguro’s hauntingly poignant and emotional story to the screen.
Without any approved stills and with the film still being finished, there is not much we can do except add some great tags and drop some names: Carey Mulligan, Keira Knightley, Charlotte Rampling, Kazuo Ishiguro, Alex Garland, Mark Romanek and say four words:

We’ve been working on The Unloved. VFX Designer Chris Panton has pulled off 15 shots of the invisible variety - subtle, muted and often toned down, the work was to set up to connect moments and create moods in this powerful and compelling story. Using Visual Effects to find a way of telling that story at difficult key moments, we often nailed it first time and at other times found it difficult to find a balance.
